About Us

After four years of Art school in New York City and a long time practicing Fine Art, Art restoration and Museum quality picture framing, I began my journey of Fine Woodworking. Starting in wood shops fifteen years ago, sweeping floors, emptying dust barrels and planing, I began to learn the process and acquire the skills to make fine hardwood furniture. Through those years, I read everything I could find on the subject of woodworking and began building prototypes from my own designs in our tiny garage. Now, with well over 10,000 hours of furniture making under my belt, I'm confident you'll love our furniture for generations.

Another large part of our business is making quality handmade Maple School furniture. Once my wife and I had our daughter, I naturally began making furniture for each stage of her growth. This led to supplying local Waldorf and Montessori Schools with desks, tables and chairs. For well over ten years, we have provided furniture for more than fifty Schools up and down the West coast and expanding throughout the United States and Canada. Most of our clients consist of Waldorf, Montessori and charter Schools. We take the time and listen to teachers and administrators needs and never stop trying to improve our designs. We are most proud of our Maple adjustable height desks for their function and durability.
